New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik has been given additional charge of Rajasthan in place of Margaret Alva, a Rashtrapati Bhawan press communiqué said on Tuesday.
The communiqué also said that Gujarat Governor Om Prakash Kohli has been given additional charge of Goa as Alva has demitted office on completing her term.
Alva, who was Rajasthan Governor, was given additional charge of Goa last month after resignation of BV Wanchoo as its Governor.
Alva completed her term as Governor Tuesday. She was appointed Governor of Uttarakhand on August 6, 2009, and moved to Rajasthan on May 12, 2012.
