Jaipur: Swine Flu seems to be gripping the politicos of Rajasthan these days. After former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Rajasthan's home minister Gulab Chand Kataria has been tested positive for the virus.

As told by Kataria's personal secretary, the minister was tested positive for the virus in Udaipur on Monday and is now recovering at his residence in the city.

On being tested by the Udaipur Medical College, he tested positive for H1N1.

Reportedly, according to the Health officials of Rajasthan, apart from Kataria, 10 more people had succumbed to the deadly disease.

With this, the death toll in the state due to the disease has risen to 49 this year.

Among the victims, 26 are females while rest are males.

Citywise, Jaipur recorded 14 deaths due to swine flu while Ajmer saw nine and Nagaur saw six deaths due to the same.

To mention of other cities, Tonk, Bikaner, Dausa, Jodhpur, Barmer, Kota, Bundi and Banswara saw two deaths each while Alwar, Dungarpur, Pali and Jhunjhunu one death in each city due to the flu.
