Jaipur: Rajasthan continued to reel under extreme cold conditions with Churu being the coldest place in the desert state recording a minimum temperature 1.4 degree Celsius.
There was no respite from the shivering icy winds even as a thick blanket of fog engulfed parts of the state delaying 13 trains.
According to an NWR spokesperson, 13 trains are running late due to foggy conditions in northern areas of the state. Sriganganagar recording a low of 2.4 degrees while the mercury settled at 4.3 degree Celsius in Pilani, 4.4 degrees in Dabok and 6.5 degrees in capital city Jaipur. Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Barmer recorded lows of 7.1, 7.5, 8.8, 10.3 and 10.4 degrees respectively.
