Malegaon, Apr 12: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray today said he would write to Maharashtra chief minister Prithviraj Chavan not to allow Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar to attend Bihar Day event in Mumbai.
Raj Thackeray told reporters here that neither he nor his party had earlier made any comment about the Bihar Day celebrations in Mumbai, but his name was unnecessarily dragged into the controversy.
Thackeray however wanted to know whey the 100 years' celebration of Bihar is being held in Mumbai, of all places. "What happened to Bihar in the last 100 years is there for all of us to see. My question is, why is it not being celebrated in Bihar, why in Mumbai", he added.
