New Delhi, July 6: It was a partly cloudy morning in the national capital Saturday, with the minimum temperature settling at 28.3 degrees Celsius - a notch above the season's average.
The Met office has forecast an overcast sky with rain in some areas.
"Generally the sky will remain cloudy. Rain and thundershowers lie ahead for Delhi," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 37 degrees Celsius, the IMD official added. Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 81 percent.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at the season's average of 36.7 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature was 28.3 degrees Celsius - a notch above the season's average.
