Varanasi, Feb 7: Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi, in the thick of election campaign in eastern UP, last evening suddenly went to the Annapurna restaurant here in Ram Katora locality and ordered South Indian dinner.
The manager M P Singh and doorman Shivendra Kumar Pandey said, Rahul stayed for nearly half an hour and had his dinner, mainly South Indian dishes.
Other guests at the restaurant were pleasantly surprised on seeing Rahul dropping in for dinner.
Rahul will be visiting some temples in Varanasi on Tuesday morning, before proceeding on his election campaign
