Mumbai: Khushi Patil, a 10-year old girl from Pune, represented India at the Asia finals of the UNO card game, held in Japan recently.






A regular visitor to a store in Pune, Khushi said she was thrilled when she got a call from the store for the UNO competition, meant for children in the 7-15 age group.

Khushi said she learnt UNO, the American card game which is played with a specially printed deck, through her friends.

The participants went through qualifying rounds before the children from Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Pune and Bangalore played in the India finals in September.

Khushi, a student of the Bishop's Co-ed School, Undri, Pune won the final round and was selected to represent India in the Asia Finals in Tokyo, which had children from Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and India.
