New Delhi, Apr 1 : President Pratibha Patil, Vice-President M Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today wished the people on the eve of Ram Navami.
“On the festive occasion of Ram Navami, I offer my greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens,” Patil said in the her message.
“May this festival inspire all of us to serve humanity with dedication and devotion,” she added. In his message, Ansari said, “I convey my best wishes to the citizens of our country on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, which marks the birth of Lord Rama.” Singh also greeted the people on the auspicious occasion.
The festival is a celebration of Lord Ram's belief and adherence to morality and righteousness amidst all difficulties, the Prime Minister said.
“May this Ram Navami strengthen our resolve to lead a principled life, and bring joy and happiness to all,” Singh said.
