New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee will be visiting West Bengal and Telangana on August 1 and 2 respectively, a Rashtrapati Bhavan communique said.
On August 1, Pranab Mukherjee will inaugurate the new building of Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology at Narayanpur, Malda.
Later in the day, he will open the International Conference on Natural Fibres organized by the National Institute of Research on Jute and Allied Fibre Technology in Kolkata.
A day later, the President will address the Annual General Meeting of Indian Chamber of Commerce in Kolkata.
On the same day, he will visit the newly formed state Telangana to take part in the 12th Convocation of NALSAR University of Law at Shameerpet.
