Lucknow: President Pranab Mukherjee will today visit Vrindavan where he will lay the foundation stone for building Lord Krishna's 'Chandrodaya' temple, which is planned to be thrice the height of 72.5 metre-high Qutub Minar.
"The President is scheduled to visit Mathura on November 16. He would take part in a religious function at the ISKCON temple and attend another function at the Bankey Bihari temple," IG law and order A Satish Ganesh said.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the President's visit.
For security purpose, four SP level officials, four ASP level officials and 18 DySPs, eight companies of the Provincial Armed Constubulary and equipment have been deployed in the city.
The President will also visit Varanasi on November 29 to participate in the inauguration of a sociological conference in Mahatma Gandhi Vidyapeeth.
