New Delhi: The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee will be presenting the Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Awards today at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Indira Gandhi National Service Scheme Awards was introduced during 1992-93 to recognize recognition work done under the National Service Scheme.
This National Service Scheme is one of the flagship programmes of the Government of India that aims at personality development and helps to develop character of students through voluntary community service.
