New Delhi : President Pranab Mukherjee today extended greetings on the eve of Eid-ul-Zuha and hoped that the festival is celebrated by all communities and regions of India together as a "composite civilisation".

Extending his greetings to all Muslim brothers and sisters in India and abroad, the President said in his message that this festival should be an occasion to share our happiness and resources with those lesser privileged, suffering and in need.

"May Eid-ul-Zuha bring all the communities and regions of India together in a celebration of our composite civilization", he said in his message.
