New Delhi: President Pranab Mukherjee will embark on two-day visit to West Bengal starting today i.e. August 23, a Rashtrapati Bhavan communiqué said on Friday.
On Saturday, the President will inaugurate a new building of Domkal Girls' College at Domkal.
He will also address students of Krishnath College at Berhampore, followed by the inauguration the sixth edition of KKM Memorial Gold Cup - a rural football tournament - at Jangipur, said the statement.
The President will on Sunday inaugurate the campus of Management Development Institute, Murshidabad and address the students (first batch) of the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDBM) programme at Murshidabad.
He will then lay the foundation stone of a new wing of Daya Duar Hospital at Dakhingram.
Later, he will be inaugurating the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology at Shibpur before returning to the national capital.
