New Delhi: Some areas of East Delhi yesterday faced power cut due to a technical snag in the distribution network.
Areas like Mayur Vihar, Patparganj, Laxmi Nagar witnessed power outages up to three hours after the transmission lines developed some problem, a discom official said.
Traffic signals in some areas also went off due to the outages following which long traffic snarls were reported from these localities. Traffic policemen were seen manually handling vehicles in these areas.
"There is no power in our area since the last two hours," a Laxmi Nagar resident said.
