Noida, Apr 15: To ensure security of industrial sectors, Gautam Buddha Nagar police yesterday started beat system in Noida and Greater Noida areas.
"Beat book will be maintained in police stations under which there are industrial sectors," Preetinder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police said.
In beat book, constables will note down details related to management, labour related information, work area of company, security arrangements at industrial units, transport related information, he said.
Beat book will have beat constable's name, mobile number, beat name, chowki name, police station name.
The SSP has deputed Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Mishra as nodal officer for Noida area and Deputy Superintendent of Police Anurag Singh as nodal officer for Greater Noida.
They will monitor beat system and hold regular meetings with industrialists and MNC executives in their areas and resolve the problems, he said.
Once the industrial sector workers' bus timings and shift timings would be available the police will plan the PCR and patrolling vehicles accordingly, said the senior police officer.
