New Delhi: The Delhi Prisons administration has set up a PO box, 9955, enabling public to submit their suggestions and register their grievances to the jail authorities.
The PO box has been opened under the director general of prisons' name at a post office near high-security Tihar Jail.
Families of inmates can also send in their suggestions to the jail authorities.
Officials said that all mail received through the PO box will be sent directly to the director general's office and a proper record of the mail will be maintained.
The move is a part of making the jail administration more transparent.
