Kota (Raj): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's address on the eve of Teachers' Day left many government school students disappointed as there was no mention of them in the speech.
Also, there were no proper arrangements made for students to see PM's address that was telecasted live on DD national TV today.
The government school authorities, however tried to make the arrangements, but the fact that there was no mention of government students from rural belt left the students as well as the teachers in deep disappointment.
Interaction session with the PM on this occasion by the students, most of them were from central schools of English-medium also saddened the students of government schools in remote rural areas of the district.
Shalini Soni, a class 12th student at government girls senior secondary school in Hindoli village of Bundi said that the students from government schools of rural belts of India should have been invited for interrogative interaction with the Prime minister.
Those students interacting with the PM in the programme were far away from the identification and superior in standard with the common students of government schools in rural belt, Shalini said.
No question was raised to PM Modi on schooling in rural areas, on agriculture education and on employment generation for the youths in villages, Vaibhavi Jain, a class 10th student of a government school in Hindoli said.
We took the girls students of our school to a nearby school to facilitate them to listen to PM's programme today, said a government teacher adding, we do not have listening aids in our school.
Modi's address on Teachers' Day somehow turned into a mere formality, the teacher further added.
District Education Officer (secondary), Bundi Paras Chand Jain said all the government and non-government education institutions of the district were directed to make audio visual arrangements to facilitate the students to listen to PM Narendra Modi's speech and his interaction with the students.
The students and teachers in all the government schools in the district well enjoyed PM Narendra Modi speech and his interaction with the students, DEO Jain further said.
