Japan's Prince will welcome the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Akaska Palace in Tokyo. It is the palace of Japan's crown prince where Japanese PM and Indian PM will hold the talks.
Noticeably, it is the first foreign visit by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi outside the Asian continent ever since he took charge as the PM of India.
During PM's visit, important deals on “Bullet Train” are expected to be finalized.
A team of Indian business tycoons will accompany the Prime Minister during the tour to understand the technicalities of the bullet train model.
Whereas, Japan is all set to impress the Indian Prime Minister with its “flying machine”.
According to the sources, the bullet train project is named as Shinkansen Network Concept by the Japanese expert team.
Japan PM Shinzo Abe is also hoping high that his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi will like the project and give a nod to it.
Moreover, Japan is planning to make the Indian PM ride the Bullet Train during the initial phase of his visit only, so that Modi gives instant approval to the project, informed sources.
Prime Minister Narendra Mod's dream is to make alive the idea of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He aims at running high speed and bullet trains across the length and breadth of the country. He wants to connect all the four directions of the country through the common thread of High Speed Rail network.
If India adopts the Japan Bullet train model, it can prove out to be a game changer for the 160 year old history of Indian Railways. Ironically, where Japan train is flying high on 300 kmph, Indian rail's maximum speed is still 90 kmph (average speed of Shatabdi Express).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is heading to Japan tomorrow to transform his “Bullet Train” dream into reality.
