In his address, PM Modi attacked the ruling TRS, saying the party on which people showed their trust has betrayed Telangana. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing a public rally in Telangana's Begumpet. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that India has become the center point to the world's desires and programmes like PM Gati Shakti were attracting more foreign investments into the country. Addressing a meeting after launching several infrastructure development projects here, the Prime Minister said PM Gati Shakti has not only speeded up infrastructure development but also helped cut costs. "Integrated view is of prime importance for infrastructure development. Isolated view taken in the past has caused heavy losses to the country," Modi pointed out. He said supply chains and logistics depended on multi-modal connectivity. Multi-modal transport system would be the future of every city. The PM also noted that "blue economy" has become a top priority for the first time. Port-led development has also become the key, he added. 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the ambitious redevelopment project of Visakhapatnam Railway station. The Rs 446 crore project taken up by the Rail Land Development Authority assumes significance as Visakhapatnam will soon transform into the headquarters of new South Coastal Railway Zone. Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw was present on the occasion. The project is being taken up on EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) mode to create world-class facilities to passengers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lays the foundation stone of projects worth over Rs 10,500 crores in Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also present.

He will lay the foundation stone of various road projects which would be taken up with a budget of Rs 2,268 crore. Modi will address a public meeting at the Begumpet airport in the poll-bound Telangana.

The PM would also inaugurate 54.1 km of railway line from Bhadrachalam Road to Sattupalli built with a budget of Rs 990 crore.

Later, in the neighbouring Telangana, the Prime Minister would dedicate to the nation a fertilizer plant at Ramagundam, besides inaugurating and laying foundation stone for multiple development projects in the state. Modi would inaugurate the RFCL fertilizer plant at Ramagundam in Peddapalli district which has been revived at a cost of Rs 6,338 crore.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch thousands of crores of rupees worth initiatives and projects in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Saturday. Among those proposed were inauguration of the Rs 26,000 crore expansion and modernisation of HPCL's petroleum refinery, first phase of the new green campus of Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam and a cruise terminal at the Visakhapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh.

The Prime Minister arrived in Vizag on Friday night. He reached the port city at least 40 minutes behind schedule as his flight's take-off from Madurai in Tamil Nadu got delayed due to rain, official sources said.
