New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today called up Narendra Modi, who is set to succeed him, and congratulated him on BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha polls.
Singh made the phone call to Modi even while trends were indicating a clear majority for BJP, PMO sources said. Modi will be succeeding Singh who will be demitting the office of Prime Minister tomorrow after 10 years. Singh will also address the nation tomorrow.
