Khunti (Jharkhand), May 28: Two men were yesterday killed by suspected People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) ultras after branding one of them as a police informer in Khunti district, police said here.
The ultras fired indiscriminately on Bhusan Singh and Tibu Singh at Tirla village under Karra police station, killing them on the spot, Superintendent of Police M Tamilvanan told reporters.
Bhusan, a contractor, was accused of being the police informer while Tibu was sitting beside him when the extremists attacked them in the evening, he added.
PLFI is a breakaway faction of the CPI(Maoist).
