New Delhi: It was a pleasant Tuesday in the capital with maximum temperature being recorded 31.5 degrees, average for this time of the season. Wednesday might see shallow fog in the morning before a clear day.
The minimum temperature Tuesday settled one notch below average at 15.4 degrees, while the humidity wavered between a high and low of 90 and 36 percent.
Shallow fog enveloped the capital Tuesday morning but sky became clear as the day progressed.
"Wednesday morning will see shallow fog but the day will be clear later," said an official of India Meteorological Department.
Wednesday's maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 31 and 16 degrees Celsius respectively.
The maximum temperature Monday was 30.6 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the minimum temperature early Monday was 16.8 degrees Celsius, a notch above average.
