New Delhi, Jan 29: It was a bright, pleasant Tuesday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling two notches below average at 6.7 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead.
"The sky will be clear in the morning and it will turn partly cloudy towards afternoon," said an official from the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 23 degrees Celsius, added the IMD official.
Visibility at 8.30 a.m. was 1,000 metres and humidity was 80 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was 22.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above average for this time of the year, while the minimum temperature settled two notches below the season's average at 6.7 degrees Celsius.
