Speaking about the event, Sufi Singer, Arif Lahor said that Pakistan Show is a great platform to promote business and intra-personal communication between the people of India and Pakistan.

“I feel that as an artist when I or all artists when they perform in different countries of the world, they carry the message of peace and love around the world and tries to create a bridge to strengthen the bonds between the countries and spread peace,” Lohar added.

This cultural show was ultimately aimed at reducing the distance between the two neighboring countries, re-creating peace and promoting bilateral trade.

At the show, Lohar's folk song Jugni, a famous number, made the people of punjab thrilled with joy and excitement. They danced to the drum beats and performed traditional Bhangra dance as Lahor was delivering the lively performance.  

In the words of a music admirer, Bhupender Singh “The Punjabi music especially the Sufi music is completely world class and has reached such a stature that it has become the soul of people of the world from India or Pakistan.”

Indian audience gave an unexpected response to the show and made the show massive by appearing in large numbers. Exhibition of traditional Pakistani industries and products such as Anarkali suits, gems, oxidized jewellery, stoles attracted the Indian audiences.  Moreover, folk performances and cultural showcase via kiosks have taken this show to another level of success.

Overall, “The Pakistan Show” was a hit among Indian music lovers as they expressed great happiness over the organization of the whole event.  People also conveyed the message of peace to politicians and governments of both Pakistan and India. They also raised the voice for soft visa regimes and promoting peace process among the two nations.
