New Delhi: In a major case of drink and rash driving in Delhi, an over-speeding car in Inderlok ran over six people, all rickshaw-pullers, injuring them grievously.
According to police, the incident took place at around 2 am on Saturday when rickshaw-pullers asleep.
All injured were admitted to Hindu Rao Hospital in Malka Ganj for medical assistance.
Police said that the drive was drunk as alcohol bottles were recovered from the car. The number of Ascent car is – DL 8C J 6173.
A hunt is on to nab the driver who fled from the spot after the incident, police said.
Notably, this is the third such incident reported in Delhi in last one week.
