“We are feeling very good and happy after coming here. We are playing Holi with flowers and dry powdered colours. We aren't playing liquid colours,” said Radha Dasi, a widow.
Authorities of the organisation said widows are celebrating Holi for the first time.
“Earlier widows weren't allowed to play Holi. But here they are playing Holi for the first time. A new ray of happiness is coming to the lives of these women and they will celebrate this happiness. They live a better life, eat and drink well. This is the first time that Holi is being celebrated in this manner,” said founder of Sulabh International, Bindeshwar Pathak.
India's festival of colours, Holi will be celebrated on Wednesday.
