New Delhi, Apr 1 : A speeding Canter rammed into a stationary Tata 407 mini truck, filled with devotees, early on Sunday morning near Madhuban Chowk in Rohini here.
The mini-truck was carrying 15 to 20 devotees, who were returning from the darshan of Goddess in Uttar Pradesh.
The driver had parked his vehicle on the kerb, when a speeding Canter coming from the Bypass rammed into the mini-truck.
Seven persons were injured. Of them, one Shsashi Kumar died on the spot. All the people were residents of Sultanpuri.
The injured people have been admitted to Ambedkar Hospital in Rohini. Three of them are critical.
The Canter has been seized and one person has been arrested.
