New Delhi, May 6: One person died and another was injured in a collision between a car and a truck yesterday night in Kanjhawala area of outer Delhi.
The incident occurred when a speeding truck went wrong side and banged into a Chevrolet Beat car coming from other side of the road.
The collision was so intense that car was completely destroyed. Two persons sitting inside the car were critically injured and were rushed to the Mangolpuri hospital.
One of the injured, identified as Sunil, succumbed to injuries in the hospital whereas other one is still fighting for life.
Truck driver who was looking to escape the spot was nabbed by the onlookers and handed him over to the police.
Police found some glasses inside the car and suspecting that the persons inside the car had consumed liquor.
Police have registered the case and investigating the matter.
