New Delhi, Sept 3 : The intra group rivalry in Congress students wing NSUI came out in the open on friday evening, when NSUI presidential candidate Ajay Chikara and his supporters bashed up the vice-presidential candidate Bhupender chaudhary and his associate Harish at the Law Faculty campus.
Said Bhupinder Chaudhary: " We were campaigning in the Law Faculty campus, when Chikara and his friends, mostly outsiders, suddenly barged him and bashed up our supporters with sticks and knives. They also fired in the air".
One of the three injured students was taken to Trauma centre.Bhupinder Chaudhary has lodged an FIR in Maurice Nagar police station against Chikara and his supporters. His supporters also staged a dharna at the North Campus.
