New Delhi: The Robin Raina Foundation (RRF), announced to build 6000 homes for the slum dwellers that are homeless in India.

According to the media reports, the initiative will be the largest private charity in the country with the investment of a whooping $20 million by RRF. Under this initiative, it is planning to support the cumulative rehabilitation plan for the homeless in India.

Robin Raina, who runs a billion dollar American Software Company and cracked a multi-billion dollar deal with London Stock Exchange recently, decided to initiate for providing homes to the people who have no roof over their head.

After completing his target of 1732 homes for the refugees living behind Red Fort, Raina told in an interview that his next mission is to build 6,000 more homes in Delhi and Noida which can provide shelter to people living on the streets.

'In last two decades, I saw malnourished and handicapped children without any education during my travels across Asia and Africa thus I pledged by setting up the Robin Raina Foundation to invest my time and resources in humanity', said Raina.

Raina's future investment:

Raina's intention is to invest at least $120 million in India and mostly in R&D and acquisitions. A few years back he wasn't interested in doing charity but with the growing efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is opening up the country for business, he feels this is just the right time to invest, Raina told Times of India in an interview.
