Noida, Nov 27: Irate residents today staged a protest carrying the body of a 15-year-old boy Rahul at Labour Chowk near Sec 57 Noida, after a speedin bus crushed him under its wheels and fled.
Rahul was rushed to hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
The residents then took his body to Labour Chowk and staged a noisy protest obstructing traffic.
As policemen tried to disperse them, the crowd resorted to stone-pelting. Police had to use lathis to disperse the crowd.
The crowd broke glasspanes of vehicles nearby.
