Pune: A Nigerian student Imafidon Osaro Daniel, who was studying Bachelor in Bussiness Administration, died after his scooter hit a big speedbreaker built in front of Spicer College Women's Hostel Gate near Aundh Road. His elder brother has now written to the President and the Prime Minister seeking justice.

According to Imafidon Osamede Augustine, the student's brother, Daniel was driving his scooter on Novermber 12 at night, when his vehicle suddenly hit the huge speedbreaker constructed newly.

He was admitted to AIIMS Hospital, but succumbed to his critical head injury on Nov 14.

According to Augustine, police officials at Chatturshrungi police station have fixed the blame on Daniel saying he was driving rashly and death was caused due to his negligence.

Augustine says, there were no signs near the speedbreaker to caution oncoming vehicles at night and his brother died because of the negligence of Pune Municipal Corporation and the road contractor. He has sought justice from the Government of India.
