New Delhi: Schools under the North Delhi Municipal Corporation will be closed from tomorrow onwards till January 15 next year, in view of the extreme cold in the city, a senior official of the NDMC today said.
The national capital has been reeling under intense cold cold conditions and today both minimum and maximum temperatures settled well below the normal mark. The minimum temperature was recorded two notches below the season's average at 6 degrees Celsius and 1.8 degrees more than yesterday's minimum of 4.2 Degree Celsius, which was the lowest so far.

In a mobile text message circulated through media, Director (Press & Information) of NDMC, Yogendra Singh Mann said, “North Delhi Municipal Corporation declares winter vacation from December 24 to January 15 next year, due to extreme cold weather.”Intense fog conditions yesterday, also affected normal life and disrupted rail and air traffic.
