New Delhi: The chorus of resignation against Delhi's Law minister Somnath Bharti is growing louder with each passing day.
The National Commission of Women (NCW) is the latest to have demanded his resignation for his alleged manhandling of African women.
Now Aam Aadmi Party Party has also ordered Somnath Bharti to pipe down and warned him to mind his language in future against his crass remarks against senior lawyer Harish Salve and BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
Bharti said at a public meeting on Sunday”I want to spit on the faces of BJP leader Arun Jaitley and senior lawyer Harish Salve to tell them to mend their ways... I warn you, the public is going to hound you and beat you.”
A senior party told a newspaper that AAP does not endorse such language and he has been clearly told to control himself.
Bharti's this statement grained so much of contriversy that senior leader Yogendra Yadav was forced to apologise on his behalf to a television channel.
