Amritsar: Sitting BJP MP Navjot Sidhu's wife Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu is going door to door seeking votes for BJP leader Arun Jaitley from Amritsar parliamentary constituency. Her husband has been denied a ticket from Amritsar this time.
Jaitley's daughter Sonali Jaitley is tying friendship bands on the wrists of voters seeking votes for her father.
Dr Navjot Kaur Sidhu said, "my job is to ensure victory of Arun Jaitley. I am working for that and this is my duty being a BJP MLA."
She however added: "we have to be cautious not to make any mistake which could have a bearing on Jaitley's campaign".
Jaitley's daughter Sonali Jaitley, who is busy tying friendship bands on the wrists of voters, says. "people are fed up of unprecedented inflation and desperately want a change. So I am asking them to vote for my father to make Narendra Modi the next Prime Minister of India."
