Mumbai, Aug 26: Thane police is probing a mysterious blast that took place on Saturday night in a grocery shop near Narendra Park in Naya Nagar adjoining Mira Road.
Eyewitnesses said, a youth was seen injured in the blast, but when local residents reached the spot, he fled.
The blast badly damaged the iron shutter and grocery articles kept inside the shop. Nearly ten adjoining shops were also damaged.
Nobody was inside the shop at the time of blast.
Local residents said, Mumbai train blast accused Tauqir's house is also in this locality, and they had been noticing suspicious movements of some people during the last few days.
