In another incident, on Saturday morning, cattle smugglers in Lalpur village forest in Bhavanpur area of Meerut fired, when a truck full of cattle was caught by local villagers. The villagers set fire to the truck and freed the cattle.
On Saturday, Meerut police seized large quantity of swords and other weapons from Mohalla Mandi Chamaran and arrested four youths.
