Navi Mumbai, Dec 10: Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai Crime Branch officials have now focused on a CCTV footage taken from a McDonald's restaurant located in Mansarovar Society in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
On the day of blast (Dec 7), an e-mail purported to be from Indian Mujahideen was sent from Mansarovar Society building, exactly 21 minutes after the heinous act. The sender used the unsecured WiFi net connection of Talreja brothers residing in Flat Numbers 601 and 602, Mansarovar building, sector-17.
Crime branch staff swooped on the McDonald's diner located in the building and questioned its manager Mr Rane for nearly four hours.
They later took away the CCTV footage for the whole day, to locate any suspicious activity on part of the masterminds of the terror act.
