Bhopal, Feb 25: The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, today placed details of his and his wife Sadhana Singh's assets before the state Assembly.
The Chief Minister and his wife together are worth more than Rs 1 crore 35 lakh 44 thousand 514, as per the documents.
Chouhan owns a flat worth Rs 23 lakh in the MLA's Complex for which he has still to pay Rs 15 lakh. He also has National Saving Certificates of Rs 60,000; possesses 64 gm of gold and jewellery, a revolver, and household goods worth Rs 2 lakh.
The Chief Minister also owns two agricultural plots -- one in his native village Jait in Sehore district, the other in village Bains in the Vidisha district.
Chouhan also has cash and deposits in banks totalling Rs 10 lakh, and a house in Vidisha.
The Chief Minister's wife, Sadhana Singh, owns an Ambassador car of a 2000 make, and possesses 470 gm of gold and jewellery, Rs 8 lakh in cash, and deposits in banks and National Saving Certificates worth Rs 20,000.
She owns two warehouses in Vidisha, worth Rs 72 lakh, built by taking out loan from the State Bank of India. Sadhana has a flat in Arera colony and a plot in the Sarvadharam colony, here. PTI
