New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday saluted "the resilience of our sisters and brothers in Nepal" for their courage following the devastating earthquake on Saturday.
In a tweet, the prime minister extended similar greetings to people in those parts of India which too suffered deaths following the 7.9 magnitude temblor in Nepal.
Modi said the "immense cooperation" between the central and state governments "is a major asset in times like these. A big thanks to all state governments".
