New Delhi: The Delhi Government's Information and Technology department has developed a mobile application to keep a track on errant auto-rickshaw and taxi drivers in the city.
Using the application, commuters can rate auto and taxi drivers and suggest if one should take it or not.
The data fed in the application will be provided to transport department and Delhi police to take action against the errant auto and taxi drivers.
The application will be launched today on a trial basis.
'This software will be uploaded on the Google to make it accessible to the common men. Delhiites will be able to access the data about the past behavioural pattern of any auto and taxi driver by feeding the registration number of concerned vehicle in android phone,' said a Delhi government official.
