Mumbai, Apr 7: Raj Thackeray's Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has threatened it will not allow the celebration of Bihar Day in Mumbai on April 15.
MNS spokesperson Shirish Parkar said, Mumbai is the capital of Maharashtra, and the people of Mumbai should celebrate Maharashtra Divas only.
“If anybody tries to show Maharashtra's culture and Marathi language in a bad light, it will not be tolerated”, Parkar added.
Bihar Foundation has planned a Bihar Day event on April 15 at Somaiya Maidan. Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has been invited to the event.
