Barabanki, UP, March 31: A 12-year-old girl studying in Class 4 was abducted from her home in a village near Barabanki on Saturday, raped and then brutally murdered, police said.
The girl was playing in front of her home, when she was abducted. Relatives searched for her, and found her body in the forest several metres away from her home.
The girl's parents alleged that she was brutally raped and disfigured after the heinous act.
Waseem Ahmed, SP Barabanki and other officials reached the spot. Dog squad was called in to trace the footsteps of the rapist. So far, nobody has been arrested.
