New Delhi:  Delhi Metro's Udyog Bhawan station near Rajpath is being remodelled as a 'cultural hub' through the display of various artifacts in order to turn it into the gateway to the National Museum, located few blocks away from it.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the National Museum have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in this regard, under which art works will be put up at both paid and unpaid areas of the Yellow Line (Line 2) station.

"While National Museum will arrange, display as well as maintain the art works, artifacts etc, DMRC will provide the necessary space and other ancillary requirements such as cabling, wiring, civil work etc," a metro statement said.
