Kolkata: Metro train services from Girish Park Station to Kavi Subhash were partially stalled for ten minutes today following an “object infringing the tracks”, a Kolkata Metro official said.
“There was an object that was infringing the tracks. We ran a thorough checking of the tracks at the Girish Park station for which metro services from the said station to Kavi Subhash Station (Garia) were affected from 10.30 am to 10.40 am,” he said.
However, during the period metro services to Kavi Subhas were maintained from the Maidan station. “Train services resumed after ten minutes,” he said.
