New Delhi: Delhi metro services were disrupted today on Dwarka route during peak evening hours when a strand of overhead electrification wire snapped.
The strand snapped between Dwarka and Dwarka mor station due to which the metro train was operational on a single line between Dwarka and Janakpuri West, a DMRC official said.
Due to short loop running between Janakpuri West and Rajiv Chowk station, trains were delayed by 20 minutes and more, leaving commuters stranded at stations since 6:30 pm. Normalcy will be restored as soon as OHE wire is repaired, the official said.
