Pune: A mental patient in the Yerwada Mental Hospital killed two other mental patients in the late hours of Wednesday in the male observation ward, as the result of a quarrel, official sources said yesterday night.
“After heated arguments, one mental patient fought with another patient and killed him on the spot at 12 am in the night.
The killer patient also killed another patient at the same time, since he was disturbing him by continuously chatting during the night hours. He also died on the spot,” Yerwada Mental Hospital Superintendent Madhumita Bahale said.
