New Delhi: On Wednesday afternoon, a set of embarrassing tweets were sent from Shashi Tharoor's Twitter account, directed at a Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar that suggested that Tharoor was having an “extra-marital affair” with Tarar.
The minister, who has more than 20 lakh followers on Twitter, later clarified that his Twitter ID got reportedly hacked.
Mehr Tarar is a journalist who works with Pakistan Times - Daily E-Newspaper. She studied at West Virginia University and lives in Lahore.
