New Delhi: Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind General Secretary Maulana Mehmood Madani today said that his organisation will hold countrywide demonstration against terrorism.
The former Rajya Sabha MP also said that there is no place better than India for Muslims.
He also said that as long as countries which harbour terrorists don't stop, the menace of terrorism will persist.
Earlier the Jamiat leader had condemned the Paris attack saying there is no place for such heinous acts in a civilized world. He also took strong exception for linking the attack with Islam.
Madani also slammed UP Minister Azam Khan for his Paris remark saying, “There is absolutely no justification for killing innocents, no 'if' and 'but' can be used.”
Khan, a senior SP leader, condemned the Paris carnage in which at least 129 people were killed but in the same breath raked up the issue of action by the US and Russia in Arab countries, saying "killing of innocents" anywhere is "not justified".
