The following NGOs have been deputed to various Mandals to assist cyclone relief operation from Saturday onwards for the next three days: Ichhapuram - Red cross, Kaviti - ARTS, GUEST, Sompeta - Sathya Sai, Vajrapukotturu - BREDS and Santhabomalli - NYK.
Local officials are going around coastal areas of AP blaring on loudspeakers "Evacuate, Evacuate, Evacuate".
A target of 5,000 to 10,000 people have been set for evacuation in each mandal.
